Bellajoslyn Posted August 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2016 We sail on 18th September. Have bought drinks package and pre paid gratuities, not really into spas, and think most of my spending will be shopping, it's my birthday and will get euros from everyone.... What kind of things are on sale, I see there are table displays on one of the photos, do different suppliers come on board? Also can I use cash? Rather than pre paying Many thanks xx
TheCaveman Posted August 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) My wife bought 2 x Armani handbags on board, and 1 other brand, and it was not to expensive, and even i agree'd that it was affordable. they have a lot of jewellery, watches, etc. smokes are really cheap, we are not smokers, but always get 4 cartons for friends,Marlboro gold - think it is €105 for woman, i think they have great deals, not so for men ( just my opinion) you have to pay with your on board card, and put cash down at reception. we always look at the prices, take a picture of the item, go online google it on amazon, and compare. 50% of the time, it will be much cheaper on the ship. also, per pay your internet package, as it will be 20% cheaper // or you get 20% more data Edited August 24, 2016 by TheCaveman
Rare Beamafar Posted August 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) It depends on the itinerary whether cigarettes or other duty-free products will be available. If the ship is only sailing within EU territory the DF shop will be closed. However, as Caveman has said there are designer handbags, jewellery and watches at discount prices onboard. There's also a wonderful candy store, too as well as an MSC Logo shop. EDIT: Just checked your itinerary - definitely no duty-free on your cruise. Plenty of other stores to spend your Euros, though.:D Edited August 24, 2016 by Beamafar
