Hotel near Port of Miami

Need a hotel for 1 night day after Thanksgiving. Will be flying into Miami airport that day and cruising the next. Looking for hotels that provide airport transportation, cruise port transportation would be helpful. Looking for a safe area and within a mile or so walk to beach unless there is public transport. Don't need anything fancy, just clean and safe. Would like to keep the cost under $200. Thanks!

What you want does not exist. :(

 

Look at Google maps - the beach is not in Miami but in the city of Miami Beach. None of the downtown Miami hotels close to POM offer airport or port shuttles - only a few of the budget places out near the MIA airport.

 

Often suggested downtown hotels near POM include Hyatt, Intercontinental, Hampton Inn Mary Brickell, Doubletree and the next door Marriott. All will be about a $25+ cab ride from the MIA airport - another $12+ cab will get you to the port in the morning.

Hi there - this forum is filled with threads about Miami hotels. You just need to type that in the search box.

 

Please don't get hung up on free shuttles - cabs are reasonable.
