POSTING A GIF UNDER YOUR SIGNATURE? How do you accomplish this??

I am sure that I am probably posting this in the wrong place, however, I could not find a section for computer questions in regards to CruiseCritic postings!

I would like to add an animated gif under my signature, however, I do not know how to do this. All of you computer wiz's out there, can someone tell me how to do this????

Click on "User CP"

 

Then click "Edit Avatar"

 

You can select an avatar from there and you are all set.

I guess what I meant to say is how do I add an animated gif that I found on a site~ to my postings under my signature ~so that it shows when I post a thread or reply????????????? I want the gif to show up at the bottom of the posting under my count down ticker.

If you go to *****, scroll down to the bottom of the page--there's a link for a vacation countdown ticker. It was pretty easy.

Very cool site - Thanks! That countdown you can easily put on your regular E-mail signature to make everyone jealous! I'm trying this now as a test - I think I have both on now but couldn't figure out a.m. or p.m. for the second. Doesn't matter! I love it!

save the image to your hard drive.

upload to a server. usually your isp will give you some webspace.

go to edit your signature and add the link to where your animated gif is located.

Maybe there is an easier way but that's the way I do it.
