Oceania British Isles Cruise

I did not look up the exact dates of your specific cruises, but be aware that during May and early June those seas have a long history of having high winds most every year. One might be lucky and catch a short period where the winds lay, however, if you play the odds, I believe that almost certainly September would be the safest.

As Lyn said, there is never a sure thing, anytime, but we have a long history of those Spring winds.

We did the British Isles cruise on Marina in July 2015, it was very calm for the entire cruise even going around the north of Scotland. But we did have to leave Waterford, a tender port, early due to forecasted high winds.

This year I believe the east coast was very rough- I remember a CC report of missing the port of Edinburgh, another tender port, due to the storms.
