Civitavecchia transportation

We are 3 couples arriving from Rome via train to overnight in Civi prior to our cruise on Oct. 21. We need to get from the train station to our hotel The Bel Sol B & B - 6 people with luggage - and wondered the best way to get there. Also, looking for somewhere to have dinner and to purchase some wine, soda and liquor. Next day we will need transport from the hotel to the cruise ship terminal.

Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Diane

We overnighted in Civi a couple of weeks ago, and had dinner at La Giusto Gusto. It's right on the main street that follows the coast between the train station and the port and overlooks the water. It was really good. Good food, good service. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby as well. I can't remember the name of the one we went to - it was tiny, and just up an alleyway from that main road in the Ghetto area. I also noticed a sign for a Carrefour Express, but did not see the location of that. I'm sure your hotel could direct you though.
