Can somebody please help a Princess "newbie". What BC balcony cabins are covered? I've heard that's something I should be aware of when selecting a cabin on this ship. Any help would be appreciated!!

Pammy,

As all of the Cat BC cabins on the Caribbean are on either the Riviera or Aloha decks (the two highest passenger decks, if you don't count the 42 Cat BA balconies that are foreship on the Lido deck), they're all covered. Be aware that the BC balconies are shallow (only about 4 feet deep) whereas the BB balconies on the Caribe deck are half-open, half-covered, but about 9 feet deep. ANY of these cabins are GREAT, but if there's not much of a price diff you might want to splurge and go with a BB. Just my 2c worth

We’ll bid our farewells much too soon

Honey, it’s been a lovely cruise."

Thanks! Our group pricing has the BC at $749pp including all port and taxes so I would imagine the BB's will run about $40pp more, definately worth the price. Thanks for the info!

I was in Aloha A201 w/ balcony. on 5/8 sailing..balcony is covered and private...size is approximately 4 feet deep by 6 to 8 feet wide. Didn't measure it, so thats my guesstimate. Have fun!

Anybody has any other questions about the ship, email me at dolphin80@yahoo.com

Does anybody know the balcony size of the Dolphin Deck mini-suites? I'm not talking about the aft cabins, but just your standard Dolphin Deck mini-suite balconies.

Would also like to know if there is any privacy on the Dolphin mini suite deck as well?? Torn between the Caribe deck BB and the mini suite AC. Not real sun worshippers but like the room and like to sit out on the deck as well. Appreciate any assistance!

We were on the Baja Deck and the balconies were covered.

I have some balcony pictures on my photo page:

Does anybody know what the cabin layout is for a triple balcony? Where does the 3rd person sleep? The pictures I have seen do not have a couch in the regular layout.

Great pictures, that's just what I needed to help me visualize the covered / uncovered balconies!

Jerseygirl, check out the Royal Hounds group board (see link below) I have posted a thread "Princess cabins at a glance" that has a little blurb about the size and ammenities of each of the catagories. Hope that helps!!
