Drink Specials while on board

I have a question with regards to drink specials. We were onboard the Independence in 2015-Spring. Each day they posted a drink special in the on-air bar. It was totally separate from the Drink of the Day. We just "assumed" this was the case on each ship. When we cruised in October of the same year on the Freedom there was no such special? Just curious if anyone knows the rhyme or reason to this or if anyone else has noticed this on any of their RC sailings.

Thank you Clarea. We noticed this with the steaks that were offered on the MDR menus nightly. They were quite a bit thicker and tastier then any of the other previous cruise menus on RC. I think we better try to find another sailing on the Independence😊

On our recent Jewel sailing there was an $8.95 drink special daily but it was unique to each bar. You had to go to a specific bar to see what their drink of the day was.

That is what we found on the Indy but have not seen it since. So we were just curious why this was. We have always sailed on Royal. Thank you for your input.
