Wiltonian Posted September 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Your post highlights the fact that there seems to be no S America "ports of call" board. Or have I missed it? Stuart
vanman Posted September 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2016 We did the northbound Valpo to FLL. You're only in Lima for the day, so don't think that Machu Pichu is doable.
Erikamac Posted September 18, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted September 18, 2016 The one I'm looking at (nov 23) is Lima for two days and they offer an excursion where you meet the ship back at the next port of pisco

4774Papa Posted September 19, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 19, 2016 Anyone done it? Did you go to Machu Picchu? Our first X cruise was on Infinity from FLL to Valpo. Fantastic cruise. Here is my review: http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=94024 On our cruise, the Machu Picchu extension was more than the cost of the cruise and you lost time on the basic cruise. I suggest that doing MP is best done independently. I found a great deal from our Lima tour company.
