Boarded at 11.15am 10 mins.Fom Southampton.

Ship is in very good condition comparing with her 10 years ago, maybee the bathrooms in cabin a little jaded.

All other public areas still look fresh, good quick service at all bars including the pool and sky bar on sailaways.footnote only 30 children on board.

Nearly everyone had a drinks package of some sort which is a must as single drinks are expensive,i had premium package and averaged 12 drinks a day so it was well worth it.[only very tipsy on 2 occasions].

Food..Breakfasts are far better than sailing from an American port, for the British anyway ie..back bacon grilled tomatoe, back pudding, fried bread, english sausage, mushrooms, unfortunate for me as i had the full works every day.

Duck has now gone from dinner with the lobster tail, but cleverly replaced with Fish and chips and 4 lamb cutlets, dinners in general were better than some cruises of the past and portion size bigger, and desserts were stunning.

we had very hot weather in spain nearly 40c/104f,which ment the drinks package was badly needed.

All in all a fantastic time,3 of the staff remembered me from 10 years ago.

PS Having sailed on Quantum last time, all though the food was top notch, the traditional dining on Navigator is, ie.. waiter, buss boy and drinks waiter is first class.

Any questions..???????????

I'm on Navigator now. We don't have a drinks package (booked onboard previously and paid a lower price to avoid it). We are D+ so the 3 1/2 hours 'cocktail time' are plenty for us. Water is fine for me during the day and DH brought Caffeine free Diet Coke onboard in Southampton.

I agree, think some just like to moan.Mine is Positve and honest.

LOL Is that better than negative and honest?

I haven't done an online review but have provided direct feedback to RCCL. We enjoyed our NOS cruise in August but because of the time of the year(school holidays) and lack of control by some parents and officers there were some pretty significant problems with the behaviour of some of the tweens and teens on board. We liked the ship, the staff, the food and the ports but it was not our favourite cruise from the point of view of the behaviour of some other passengers. The policy of not allowing minors in public places on their own meant that some formed gangs running up and down the stateroom corridors shouting and banging on doors , lounging around on the staircases causing obstructions, pushing in front of people, riding up and down and pushing all the buttons in the lifts etc. In my opinion a few patrols by officers and returning them to their parents would have helped. They were being normal teenagers but someone should have pulled them in to line.

This is not a moan - we enjoyed our cruise - but it is positive, negative and honest :)

Totally agree, thats why i mentioned there were only 50 children onboard and why we never go in school holiday, out of the 50 only 2 as i saw were over 5.I spoke to some of the staff about this and they said where has all the noise gone.Read reviews about the long wait at bars but no sign of that on this cruise ,Sky bar had 7 working there.

We are having a very good cruise. The food in MDR has been fine. Tonight's Lamb was superb.
