Getaway - Deck 5 - Noisy or Quiet?

My guarantee inside cabin assignment is 5445 on Getaway. I knew it was a possibility to be assigned down there, so I'm not really disappointed. We're just going to "go with the flow". Just wondering, how noisy is it really on deck 5?

When we went in May we were in 5836, which is pretty much right by the rear elevator's and stairs, not to mention right under Taste. We were really worried about noise and never heard a peep.

 

When it was assigned to us (we went guarantee also) we were pretty disappointed about it being in such a crap location too. Turned out to be an excellent cabin whose location really worked out for us.

We were in 5190 a few weeks ago on the Getaway. No noise during the day except when we were tendering. During the evening hours, we could barely make out the music from the atrium events, but it was soft enough to be drowned out by my wife's fan that goes everywhere with her.

We stayed in an oceanview family cabin on deck 5, we found it to be very quiet. We occasionally could very faintly hear music drifting down from the Atrium, but it wasn't loud enough to cause a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Thank you all for your responses. Glad to hear it's pretty quiet. This cruise is the second week of a B2B after Escape, so I'm happy.

Stardust3000, do you recall your cabin number? I booked two of those cabins for next summer and want to make sure they aren't too loud from above.
