aiiixiin Posted September 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Hi all, Does anyone know the depth of the pools on the Royal Princess and if floaties are allowed in any of the ship pools? Thanks! Mandy
stoneharborlady Posted September 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Not positive about the depth of the pools, but I would guess around 5 feet. We took short foam boards, about 18 inches long, and about 12 inches wide. They did not infringe on anyones space, but worked fine for floating around. They fit on the bottoms of the suitcase, and fit in a beach bag for taking to the islands.
satxdiver Posted September 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Hi all, Does anyone know the depth of the pools on the Royal Princess and if floaties are allowed in any of the ship pools? Thanks! Mandy We were on the Royal and our 4 y/o DGD used her floaties without any problem in the shallower part of the pool. As a once life guard and aquatic instructor I would caution allowing little kids using floaties in water that is over their heads and/or a distance from the side of the pool. Every time I see this, I cringe in horror.
Lucky TGO Posted September 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Hi all, Does anyone know the depth of the pools on the Royal Princess and if floaties are allowed in any of the ship pools? Thanks! Mandy On the Royal Princess in the adult pool I think it says 4'8" but it's not. I think it's closer to 5'5" and my wife takes one of those noodles you by at the dollar store. No one ever told her she couldn't use it. Tony
