racefan1965 Posted October 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2016 Are there any Halloween festivities? First time cruising with Norwegian and first holiday cruise. Hubby and I are celebrating 10 year anniversary.. we always said we'd go to Hawaii, but you get more for your $ with a cruise. Splurged on an aft balcony instead. I was wondering if I should bring costumes?

faith4keep Posted October 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2016 We were on the Escape last year during Halloween. There was a costume party but I'd say something like 10% of guests dressed up. The party was held at 10:30pm and although we were dressed in costume, we zonked out before then. It's also worth noting that we were turned away from a few restaurants due to our costumes (we weren't wearing anything scandalous at all) so keep that in mind. The crew also put on a haunted house in the supper club theater which was fun to walk through. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cot427 Posted October 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Just off the Escape and although I don't have all the details, I know some of the staff were excited about the Halloween party/costumes. Maybe since the ship was so new last year and just getting up and running, it wasn't as big. Sounds like they are planning more for this year.
