There is no official announcement that the Port of Miami or Port Evergaldes in Fort Lauderdale are open yet.... The Coast Guard should be in the inspection mode right now.

You might want to check to see if the county have curfew. Orlando is under curfew until sat 7 am.

Orlando will lift curfew at 2pm Friday. I believe the rest of counties will follow. You should be fine.

Miami escaped the brunt. I am currently at a Universal hotel and we are being told the storm surge is only about 6-8 feet above normal. We are pretty confident the main band will be above us by 3 pm local.
