Booked cabin for 2 1 needs to be removed

I am asking this question for a friend. She booked and paid for a cruise for herself and her then boyfriend. She has since broken up. She booked the cruise and paid for the whole thing. Can she call and remove someone? She know's it's past the point of getting any refund.

I don't know if it's possible to formally remove the boyfriend from the reservation, but I don't think they'd stop your friend from boarding if the boyfriend just didn't show up.

Just have her call up and change passengers. She can take someone else along. Usually done for free or a small change fee if not right before her sailing.

I think a name change is $25. Depends on who is the primary passenger though. I think there are other steps you have to take if he was primary. Nothing major but it can be done.

If it's past the point of refund then it's best she just lets it go and let him be a no-show and she will be in the cabin by herself. If she tries to cancel him they will rebook her as a solo and it could cost her more money. When she checks in they will ask where he is and she can tell them he is not going to show. They will probably try to call him if his phone number is on file, though.

 

If she wants to substitute someone else to go with her then that is a different story.

Just have the ex-BF as a no show. Probably if she removed the name now. She'd have to pay single rate anyway. If no show she'll at least get the taxes , fees and other prepaid costs back.

I did for get to mention that this was booked via CAS.(Casino at Seas) unsire if that changes anything

Just have your friend call CAS. No one knows for sure except them.

Would probably depend on whose play the cruise was based on. If BF was the main player, it may be better just to have him as a no show, but if you were the player , you could change passengers. If the cruise was not based on your play could they/would they charge you more?
