Disappointed

No piano bar on HAL? :( One of the funnest activities on RCCL has been their Schooner Lounge piano bars. Very fond memories of singing songs there with my late Mother and my brothers and our wives until the wee hours. I had heard something about dueling pianos but did not think it was "instead of" piano bar. Bummer.

Sadly, no. :(I don't want to go terribly off topic, but also want you to have your question answered.

Over the last several years HAL has been removing the Piano Bars on the older ships, and replacing them with The Mix; it is not at all the same concept or atmosphere. On the newer ships, the Piano Bars are being replaced with "Dueling Pianos". Again, not at all the same concept.

The idea of making fun activities where passengers can enjoy each others' company has now extended from daytime to that venue as well.
