sad549s Posted October 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2016 With the drink package now including drinks up to $50 each I was wondering if there are any drinks that even come close to the price limit and if so....what are they? I thought most drinks were under $10.

GoGoJules Posted October 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2016 Some of the wines are $15-20/glass or more at the steakhouse bar (don't need to eat there to access it), and they have some higher end scotch as well from what I understand that can be pretty pricey. I think some of the top shelf mixed drinks are where it'd really start pushing the $50 limit. Sent from my iPad using Forums

jribar Posted October 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 26, 2016 How do they figure the number of days? On a 7-night cruise, is it considered to be 7 or 8 days....so if you purchase after boarding is it now 6 or 7 days of the daily charge? jribar Posted October 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2016 So we board sunday and I purchase on Monday, then I am charged for 6 days? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Since we are off the ship Sunday, right? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare Banditswife Posted October 27, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 27, 2016 I am not well versed in the cheers program, but I thought you were required to purchase the cheers pkg for the entire length of the cruise. I also thought they expanded the allowable drinks to include specialty coffees & drinks. I don't really understand the gratuity either- do you pay the gratuity on each drink you order or is the gratuity added to the $49.95 per day price like the link suggests? john91498 Posted October 27, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Not sure what the cost is, but to maximize Cheers for me, I hit the 15 drink limit every day.

GoGoJules Posted October 27, 2016 #12 Share Posted October 27, 2016 You pay gratuities when you pay for the package, not on the individual drinks. Yes it includes all the specialty coffees, virgin drinks, milkshakes, Red Bull, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
