Dear Carnival Valor Guest,

We're sure you are excited about your upcoming cruise. So, we'd like a moment of your time to provide you some great news regarding our itinerary plans for your sailing on Carnival Valor.

As you may know, we have been working with our Freeport partners at the port, government and shore side services concerning their recovery efforts from the impact of Hurricane Matthew. I am pleased to inform you we are now ready to resume our calls to Freeport. Therefore, your itinerary remains as scheduled.

I just canceled my Freeport Excursion on Monday. I didn't think we'd be going to Freeport. I'm glad it's reopened but Murphy's Law - Hahaha.

We got the same email regarding our scheduled call at Freeport next week on Sunshine. Happy to be going.

Port charges have been lowered for this sailing. Called and was told they would neither be credited to credit card or given as an obc. Has this ever happened before, as the carnival rep seemed to have no answer.

Happy to do so the next time we manage to book a cruise that goes to Freeport.:eek::eek:

 

Might be awhile as we have managed to avoid it for the past 25 or so cruises.
