DisneyDatknee Posted November 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2016 (edited) Ok, we are thinking about booking a cruise for the Celebrity Equinox on the Empress of the Seas and I know you probably can't get the bonus OBC with the interline (if you don't know what it is, it's an airline employee rate), but has anyone tried booking interline onboard? Or can I just book it and then transfer it to my TA to adjust to interline. I just really want the reduced deposit because I don't want to put down $900 if I don't have to. I know I'm booking Celebrity on the Empress OTS, but just wondering if anyone has booked interline onboard Royal. They've claimed I could do it and call in later to get my rates applied, but still no luck.

You need to book interline rates through an interline travel agency. Sometimes, you'll receive lower costs or better bonus incentives through the cruise line than interline. Celebrity has been having some nice perks, not available to interline rates. Edited November 6, 2016 by cruising grandma

I emailed my TA asking if I could book onboard then he could adjust the rates to interline.
DisneyDatknee Posted November 7, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted November 7, 2016 Just spoke to my TA. He said I could book it regularly onboard and he can just adjust the rates to interline and I could keep the reduced deposit. He said their might be a possibility to keep the onboard bonus credit as there has been success in the past. Thanks for your comments!!

cruising grandma Posted November 7, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) Where do you find just an interline travel agent? Check your airline company resources......against cruise critic rules to name agencies.:) or, if I gave you my email address on Freedom, just email me, and I'll tell you a few.
