Are we allowed to take our luggage on as a carry on if we only have one piece? We are doing a 3 day on Thanksgiving and we will only have one suitcase.....

Yes. It just needs to be able to fit through the scanner (just like the airport).

It has to fit through the security scanner machine in order to be able to carry on this ship.

yes if it is small you can. Large bags have to be checked so they can be x-rayed

Yes if it meets the size guidelines. You will also have to carry it around with you until 1:30 when you can get in your cabin.

There are no rules about how many bags you can bring on board. The only rule is that you have to be able to handle them yourselves. We only do carryon and never check luggage. We each have 1 rolling suitcase and then either a backpack or large tote. We can easily handle them and if they fit through any screening at an airport then they'll fit going onto the ship!! NO worries!

Agree, very unusual. Unless additional sanitation is required when the previous sailing experienced spread of virus.
