What section of the trail affords the best chance of seeing Moose? We want the rent bikes, and are wondering which end to start at. We are only able to do 1/2 of the trail

You know to only view wildlife from a safe distance, right? (Sorry if that sounds like nagging but I've see many people think that it's okay to pet the wildlife :eek: )

Agree with the previous post that Kincaid Park would be your best opportunity to see moose. Problem would be getting there if you only want to ride half the trail. You could put your bikes on the bus from downtown that drops you about 3 miles from the chalet and then ride 11 miles back to town, or the reverse. Could also take the bus both directions. There are easy on/off bike racks on the front of the buses.
