Half Moon Cay and Cheers

No, but yes.

We were at Grand Turk on our last cruise, and when DH went looking for beer he ended up with Land Shark in the plastic cups. When we saw people with beer in cans, we asked where they purchased them.

They replied that they had "stockpiled" a few extra beers at the end of the days before on their Cheers account and brought those off the ship with them (in a collapsible cooler, in their beach bag).

So, this could feasibly be done at HMC also, assuming you don't actually drink your 15 every day.

Apparently they cannot figure out how to make Cheers work off the ship. Guess the Princess IT people are smarter than the CCL ones.

If Princess doesn't have a daily drink limit they don't care so there's no need to keep track. Since CCL has a limit and they can't track in real time how many someone had ashore compared to what they've had on the ship they don't allow Cheers to be used ashore.

And Holland America's, too.

Actually, Spark's answer is the correct one.
