Carnival magic- Cucina Del Capitano

Good morning all!

 

I am sailing on the carnival Magic on January 7th, 2017.

My question is, is the Cucina Del Capitano free for lunch? I know there is a 15 dollar dinner fee per person but was told that it is feee for lunch.

Correct. Free at lunch with an abbreviated menu.

Yep! The create your own pasta is what they have for lunch. We went there on embarkation day and then another day I went with my son. It was good pasta! You could get like 4 different noodles, 8 different sauces, and you could add a couple of meats (chicken, shrimp, meatballs). You can also get a Caesar salad and bread on the side.

I didn't realize it was available for lunch on days other than Embarkation Day.

 

DRAT!!! I missed out on some good lunches on the rest of my cruise!

I normally enjoy lunch a few times each cruise - but I ate dinner one night on the Magic and it was fabulous. Well worth the $15. I had the steak and I actually enjoyed it more than the Steakhouse.

We had pasta twice earlier this month and was very good empty beginning of cruise more crowded later on. Wanted to try it for dinner but never got around to it.

Had dinner there a couple of times on the Breeze and really enjoyed it! Well worth $15.00!
