Av8tor Posted December 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2016 There are three piers in Dominica that cruise ships can use; Roseau (downtown), Woodbridge (1 mile north of downtown) & Cabrits (way up north past the town of Portsmouth). CruiseTTdotcom shows Jewel of the Sea using the Roseau port and Royal Princess using "Dominica" port on both 1/3 & 1/25, but it also shows the passenger load of the Royal as 688 (still using old Royal numbers?) so that puts the accuracy of the site into question. I think "Dominica" port is actually Woodbridge, but I'm not sure... Can anyone confirm which one Royal will use on 1/25/17? Thanks
canadarocks Posted December 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) Sorry I can't answer your question, but you're right to not depend too highly on that website. We'll be in Dominica on January 10 on Holland America's Nieuw Amsterdam, and cruisett doesn't list it (that port or anywhere else). Edited December 5, 2016 by canadarocks
Nukesailor Posted December 12, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 12, 2016 We were on the Royal Princess last month. They used the cargo port, Woodbridge Bay. Not entirely sure why, as the Royal was the only cruise ship at Dominica that day. Art
