Tayana Freedom 45 Posted December 29, 2016 Author #26 Share Posted December 29, 2016 I finally made a decision and I ended up buying the Olympus OM-D EM 10ii. The touch screen and the in body stabilization is what ended up being the final deciding factor between the Olympus and the Sony. Now I am learning how to use my camera. Thanks again everyone for their help and input. Diane

Rare Tahitianbigkahuna Posted December 30, 2016 #29 Share Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) Oh darn ........... Jonny come lately For your type of photography (landscape) Within your budget ($800) Top performer is the Nikon 3400 which you can buy for under $500 including a 18-55 and a 70-300. This is until tomorrow night, at B&H The dynamic range of the Nikon 3400 (released August 2016) is the highest of all cameras mention in this thread. Dynamic range is the key factor for landscape photography. BTW, I shoot with Canons but within your budget and use, buy the Nikon 3400. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?atclk=Brand_Nikon&ci=9811&N=4288586282+4291315846 Edited December 30, 2016 by Tahitianbigkahuna
