Vista Horizon and Reflection dining room question

Hi

I was on the Vista in August and YTD was in Horizon dining but I heard they were going to flip that in the Caribbean and the Reflection would be the YTD room and Horizon would be for set dining times. Has anyone that has recently been on the Vista in the Caribbean confirm or set me straight? Going on the Vista again in March and just want to confirm.

Thanks!

Kellie

And Vista Reflections MDR has the only 20 seat circular table in the Carnival fleet.

I was assigned there the 1st night and immediately asked to be switched to a smaller table. I could barely hear anybody talking since the table was so large. Almost needed binoculars to see the other side too.

Is YTD in the upper or lower Horizons restaurant? Or both?

Also, does YTD attract more people than the fixed time dining options?

Thanks.

The entire dining room is YTD; you have to check in on deck 5 and get a time and then check in at the dining room either on deck 3 or 4...unless you're platinum or diamond. If you are, you get to check in at the DR itself. Many people were unhappy because they wanted a set time but they were full, so they were assigned YTD; at least that's what I heard. There was plenty of seating in YTD; I can't imagine that people had to wait long, but I did see long lines if I happened to be by the check-in place around 5:30.
