Chankanaab park in Cozumel, best place to call and prebook b4 cruise?

Thanks for any information. Can you just snorkel on your own there or do you need to enter the water at a certain place with a guide? We have done the Manatee swim and loved it. Which dolphin swim do you suggest?

 

We are coming in on Carnival. anyone know how much the cab ride is from that dock to the park?

Chank offers a separate snorkel area where they have sunk a few statues and other things in the water - easy access from the shore. No guide required.

Do you know where you enter the water to do that? I am familiar with the pool and dolphin area. Thanks

snorkeling area is large 4/5 different sets of stairs to get into the water. Area is just down from the dolphin area just past the little kids swimming area. Current is stronger over by the dolphins, the reefs are about 50 feet from shore with a lot of fish there.
