Cozumel Beach Day???

Hi there just wondering if anyone could suggest a Beach club ??? Also anyone try Playa Panancar?? ( not sure if I spelled it right ..lol) thanks in advance...

Lots of suggestions if you just look down the first page of this forum. This is a very active forum, unlike some, and you will see beach clubs discussed over and over - it is just a matter of what type of club you are looking for, and what amenities you require. Take a look and see if any appeal to you and then ask any specific questions.

 

Playa Palancar is at the southern end of all the beach clubs. It is a good resort with good food, loungers, tables, chairs, umbrellas, watersport company for diving and snorkeling by boat. Because it is further from the pier the taxi cost is higher but it is generally quieter than many. That said, last time I went it was much busier than I had ever seen it before but we arrived at lunchtime and only stayed a couple of hours.

Depends on what you are looking for.

 

Mr Sanchos, Paradise Beach, Chankanaab Park, Tend to get the families with tweeners and teens and some of the party crowd. Playa Mia is indeed geared toward families, especially those with younger children. All 4 of these have water toys and extras available.

Money Bar, Sky Reef, and Playa Corona have small man-made beaches but very good snorkeling.

Nachi Cocum is an all inclusive and limits its # of guests.

Playa Plancar is further south and has great food drinks, sandy beaches, a little snorkeling to the southern end but palapas and loungers and kayaks. It's the longest taxi ride from the piers.

 

But if you are escaping the crowds it's a good one to focus on. Not so much if you want to be a part of the action.
