What time to set for tour due to Bar Harbor tender?

Pretty sure we are going to set up a trolley tour for Acadia but not sure if we should do 10am or 11am. We are there on a Monday from 8-6 but since this is a tender port would the 10 am one be rushing it too much. Our previous port is Portland so from what I have read I think we shouldn't have to worry about customs. Is that correct? Read that we will be given a paper to fill out 2 days prior to the arrival at the port. Want to book online so tour isn't sold out although from what I have found we are the only one in port that day!!

If your previous port of call is a US port which Portland is, then there is no problem with customs. The 10AM tour is OK.

We did an earlier trolley tour than we had planned. We got tendered in way earlier than we thought we would. If it is Ollie's Trolley, they are very good.

Is there a better side of the trolley to sit on to see the sites? Last bus tour we were on was in St Maarten and we sat on the right hand side and couldn't see anything that they were talking about. Thought I would ask in case there is a better side to see things. Thanks.

Youncan sit on either side. You will see one side going up and the other coming down the mountain.

That only works when going up and down Cadillac Mountain, but since that is the only part of the tour that would retrace its route, you would have to make a choice. I think I would sit on the left side when doing the Park Loop Rd because it has a good ocean views for part of the loop.
