Traveling with platinum members

Afternoon, we are traveling with another couple who happens to be platinum cruisers where we are gold. They get to go priority boarding, can we go with them? (Please be nice. Not trying to start a war or to beat any system). Just want to know).

If it's important to board together they can join you. Otherwise meeting once on board isn't much of an issue.

You do get to walk off with them. Our cruising friends do, as recently as this morning in Ft Lauderdale.

You can not board with them but they can board with you at your assigned time.

Ever since Carnival started selling priority boarding for a fee (FTTF), they will not give it away. If you have not purchased the privilege (FTTF) or otherwise earned it (platinum or diamond), you will not get to enjoy priority boarding unless you book a suite or are part of a booked wedding party.

 

Simply knowing someone with the priority boarding privilege will not benefit you.

 

But if boarding together is really important to your group, the other members can wait and board with you at your later embarkation time.

Bad news is you probably wont be able to board with them (unless they wait and go with you). It's very easy to just meet up on board once everyone boards. (cell phones will still work before you set sail).

 

Good news is, if you have any tender ports, you can accompany them on priority tendering.
