First timers

Please could any of you more experienced travellers help us? We are starting in Singapore in April 2017 stopping at Phuket, Sri Lanka, Cochin India,New mangalore, Goa, Mumbai, Muscat, Dubai ending in Abu Dhabi has anyone else done this trip and give us any more information tips on excursions.

Also currency help needed, do you take US Dollars and exchange on ship for each destination?

We have not done this trip yet but are booked for 2018. For information on excursions/things to see and do I would look at the following:

As to currency, our experience has been that the ships don't stock currencies for the all ports. Depending upon where were are going we generally use ATMs in the ports to get local currency. In some cases we will purchase the current at home and take it with us.

You might want to include more info in your heading rather than "first timers" it's a little vague or as Jelayne mentioned the following

I would exchange your dollars before you leave. Most ports have a currency exchange but not always, and it may be expensive.
