Pool - Pearl ... NOW

Not sure what you read or where you saw it, but...

1. You're not leaving for two weeks. If there is indeed something wrong, don't you think that they will be able to do something about it before then?

2. What if there is indeed no pool? You're beyond final payment date.

Whatever happens, you just have to make the most of it. If you go on to your first cruise with a negative attitude, you are going to be miserable. You're going on a cruise. Don't make yourself miserable over things that aren't within your control.

They often have to drain the pool! They do need to do some maintenance and things sometimes :)

I love NCL please don't be nervous!! Maybe this post will get you excited instead of nervous... http://cruisingisntjustforoldpeople.co.uk/2016/10/08/my-favourite-10-things-about-cruising-with-ncl/

Last week on the Pearl there was a day where the pool was partially drained and occasionally closed because the rough seas were causing BIG waves in the pool, enough to hurt if you got banged into the sides of the pool. It was refilled once the seas calmed. No worries, you will have a great cruise on the Pearl!

We noticed the pool was drained on our last day of cruising last week. It was out last port day, the pool had been drained in the early AM and by the time we were getting off for Key West there were a few guys inside the pool working on it. When we got back, the pool had been covered and astro-turf type stuff was put over it. Not sure what the deal was, but didn't matter to us since we had no time to use it anymore :P
