claudiaYVR Posted January 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Edie, Could you shed some light on the strategy behind delaying the large ship builds for several years in favour of building several small vessels (river and yacht)? Does Crystal believe that an all-small ship fleet may be the way for the future and is testing that notion between now and when the first large ship build is about to begin? EdieRodriguez Posted January 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) Dear ClaudiaYVR, Our commitment to exceeding our guests’ wishes remains a priority. Every step of the way, we are listening to the feedback of our loyal guests and expert travelers, as well as continually evaluating ourselves and the luxury travel market. The feedback from loyal guests along with their enthusiasm for a true luxury river cruise experience and expedition travel, made it Crystal Clear to focus our attention on the initial expansion in both Crystal River Cruises and Crystal Yacht Expeditions. This is not to say we are neglecting our larger vessels, as evident of the direction to make significant enhancements to Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.
