Easy car rental from Port Canaveral?

Hello,

 

My cruise stops at Port Canaveral for one day (noon-9:30PM). Is it easy to rent a car from Port Canaveral for one day? Are rental agencies have shuttle? Which ones does? Do they close late to accommodate late departure from cruise ships ?

I have always used Budget. Also very close is Hertz and avis.

choices: Enterprise, Alamo, National, Hertz, Thrifty, Payless, Dollar, Thrifty, Avis. None is more than 2 miles away

 

all run shuttles WHEN OPEN and most close by 5, when closed most have an after hours key drop box and you call a cab to get back to the ship. (suggest you verify the drop box)
