NeurosurgeryNP Posted January 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Interested in doing this all inclusive when we stop in March. Has anyone done this? Reviews? Thanks. Sent from my XT1650 using Forums mobile app
lifes-a-beach Posted January 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2017 We did it a couple of years ago. Absolutely beautiful property. I felt like it was too short of a day for the cost but considering there's not much else to do in Jamaica you might feel like it was a good value. Food was ok. Not great but plentiful. We don't drink alcohol so can't comment on that.
LeeW Posted February 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Have gone to the Hilton Rose Hall twice with cruise ship tours out of Falmouth. These spend around 3 1/2 hours at the resort, which is plenty for us. Great food (burgers, fries, jerk chicken and pork). Great desserts in the buffet. Nice lazy river and water slides, with swim up bar. Large pool that mostly folks staying at hotel used. Beach below that pool is nice but ocean very rocky. Even with water shoes we basically couldn't wade out. And lots of urchins, so you need to be very careful. Didn't bother us - the river and slides were plenty for us. Tipping isn't really necessary, although bar and food service folks appreciate it. Resort is close to MoBay but still only 20 minutes from Falmouth. NeurosurgeryNP Posted February 8, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Thanks for the input. We can't wait. We were looking forward to going into the ocean, but maybe not so much now. :(

We have this resort booked for our upcoming cruise. I'll be sure to bring my water shoes. How is the snorkeling at the beach? Is this something that we will be able to do from shore? Thank you. uznmyhead Posted February 17, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Does anyone know if the hotel provides transfers between them and the cruise port in Montego bay? It is a little cheaper to book the day pass directly through the hotel but I was wondering about transportation. Thanks for input. Also, if not through the hotel, who do you book this through?
