allyg Posted January 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2017 My husband and I will begin and end our cruise in Copenhagen. What is the best way to get from the cruise port to the airport? We arrive at 7:00 am and our flight departs at 12:25 pm. Does Seabourn offer any group transportation? Thank you.

Seabourn usually offers:- 1/ A coach directly to the airport that leaves about 8.30 am, And 2/ A coach that leaves about 9am for those with flights after 3pm that does a city tour as well. Both are good value in my opinion 😀
allyg Posted March 15, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted March 15, 2017 The only SB Transfer from Copenhagen port to airport on July 8 appears to be a private transfer which is quite expensive. This is our first SB cruise and I was wondering if SB ever offers a group transfer once on board. Does anyone know if cabs are readily available at the port? Any transfer suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't be concerned, you will find once onboard that Seabourn will be offering a group transfer, just ask the lovely Guest Relations staff at Seabourn Square. The form that arrives in your suite a few nights before dis-embarkation day will also have the details of the transfers (times as per my reply to you on January 21) However, I usually source a Limo hire firm online before the cruise just in case Seabourn doesn't organize a group transfer. We usually head home the same day. We didn't have any problem with a cab FROM Copenhagen airport, however we haven't dis-embarked there.

wripro Posted March 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 15, 2017 Why not just take a taxi?
SKP946 Posted March 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 15, 2017 Why not just take a taxi? We did just that when we disembarked Quest in Boston last September. We had to wait in a queue for about 40 minutes, and then had really crappy taxi; dirty, the springs, shocks and seats were all shot. Never again. Never again. Yes, we were in Boston last September, I know what you mean, the queue was ridiculous. When we finally got the taxi he took us on the tourist route to the centre of Boston (I have been there several times before and as I usually do, I was tracking on my phone) resulting in double the cost. Depending on the effect on us, I usually just put it down to the experience of traveling.
allyg Posted March 16, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted March 16, 2017 Is Uber an option to get from the cruise port to the airport in Copenhagen?

Never again. Then I suggest you google a car transfer service in Copenhagen and book your own private transfer. It will still be cheaper than anything Seabourn offers. jcruisers01 Posted March 17, 2017 #12 Share Posted March 17, 2017 You will be in Europe. Realiable and clean. And the airport is not far from where the ship will dock. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
