Could anyone advise me their experience regarding coach transer to Southampton. In the past we have driven and parked but thought it might be more relaxing to travel by coach. We will be travelling from Cardiff, would it take a lot longer

Hi Rose,

I'm guessing you're sailing either P&O or Cunard, both offer a chartered bus service.

From experience, P&O's is tolerably reasonable on cost, Cunard tends to be more expensive.

Sorry, can't help with the time-scale because the driver may be obliged to take a 45 minute break (and there's likely to be a comfort stop anyway even tho the coach will have a wc). Also, don't expect a direct run - there will be pick-ups on the way and they might be off-route. That's not likely to be known until close to the day, when passenger numbers are known and they can assign routes/pickups.

Do also check out where your pickup point is. If it's at M4 services, the taxi or parking may add significantly to the cost

Coaches aim to arrive Southampton around 1pm

JB :)
