Dream Stateroom

The hairdryer should be in the drawer of the desk, but they are old and weak. If you have alot of hair, or very thick hair, I would bring your own.

The balcony dividers can be opened, as long as you don't have a connecting stateroom, meaning an interior door connecting the two rooms.

Dream goes into drydock next week so no one knows yet if they will replace the blowdryers are not.

Last month the blowdryer was in the desk drawer and worked just fine for us. It was your typical Conair type blowdryer that you find in hotels and such.

There are other reasons why they won't open them. First off, they don't remove them. They swing them towards the bulkhead. Second, If the divider will block the door, they won't open it. It has to swing so that it will cover the window. The cabins are laid out back to back. Meaning that one cabin will have a door on the left, the one next to it will have the door on the right. If that divider is opened, it will swing to the left and cover that cabin's window.

The hairdryers as mentioned are in the desk drawer but I bring a travel size hairdryer of my own that has oodles of power and it folds in half so it doesn't take up too much room in my suitcase. If you want to know which balconies open to the one next door, call Carnival and ask by cabin number they have the information available.
