Port Carnaveral - Best place to wait

Hello,

 

My next cruise has a stop at port canaveral. I've search on the port website, and the cruise docks at the Terminal 1.

 

I have a friend that will meet us when we will disembark the ship for the day. What would be the best place for him to wait for us? Are people that are not from cruise ships have access by walking at to dock to meet us?

 

If not, any suggestions where he could meet us ?

Grills is right next door to the terminal. I suggest they park and wait at Grills. It will take you minutes to walk there and it is a nice place to sit and have a drink ... they open for breakfast so should be no worries about 'too early'. He can park in the same place (as for Grills) and walk to the front of the terminal as well, but I'd just wait at Grills ..... There is open parking between the terminal and Grills ....

I agree with Grills and there are other coastal restaurants at the port within walking distance. There is also a parking lot next to Terminal 1 that allows free three hour parking.

Grills right next door....and good place for your friends to park and wait for you...right next door = 1 block
