Eric2005 Posted January 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2017 How can I find a list of tours and prices for the Iberian Adventure leaving Southampton November 6? I'd rather wander around on my own but I'm afraid of missing the ship.
Rare Scrapnana Posted January 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2017 (edited) Chances are the excursions are not up yet. When they are you will need to log in to your Voyage Personaliser and find what is available and the costs. The Cunard website says they will be available at least 12 weeks before your cruise. If you want to get an idea of possible excursions, use this link to get to the Cunard page for your cruise. Scroll down to the bottom where there is a list of your ports. You can click on each and see excursions that may be available (no prices indicated). Edited January 23, 2017 by Scrapnana
Bigmike911 Posted January 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2017 You are very wise to book the excursions from Cunard. The ship will not leave before the tour returns. Mike
Ray66 Posted January 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2017 I note these are your ports of call: La Coruna, Cadiz, Malaga, Gibraltar, Lisbon I haven't been to La Coruna or Malaga, but you can do Cadiz, Gibraltar and Lisbon on your own without fear of missing the ship. Cadiz is a short walk from the ship and is a nice town to walk around. Gibraltar. You will probably only get half a day here. We walked a short distance from the ship and came across a kiosk selling mini-bus drives to the town square. We took this and then walked over to the cable car to the top of The Rock (where the monkeys are). (When we were there we actually came across people from the Cunard excursion). We walked back to the square and took the mini-bus back to near the ship. Lisbon: there is a ship's shuttle into the town centre where you can walk round OR you can walk round the old part on your own straight from the ship OR you can walk a short distance to the TUK-TUK vehicles that are waiting and will take you round town. When we did Lisbon for the third time last year we chose the ship's tour to Estoril. I still have tour prices from last year: Lisbon Highlights & Coast of Estoril – 3hrs, 10.15am. Low activity $54. (23mins to Estoril) Enjoy the famous sights of Lisbon before travelling to the scenic coast of Estoril. Views of Lisbon & Estufa Fria Garden $52 .9.30am. 3 ½ hours. Activity level: medium Visit Estufa Fria tropical garden, before enjoying wonderful panoramic views from the base of the statue Christ the King. Sintra, Guincho & Cascais. 4 ½ hrs, 9.45am. Medium activity. $58 The picturesque villages of Sintra and Cascais have a unique charm all of their own. Charming Obidos $40. 4 ½ hours. Activity level: medium By coach and on foot. Journey to Obidos is around 1¼ hours. This tour involves two hours of walking. (Lisbon by Tram & Coach – 3hrs, 9.45am. Refreshments. Low activity $102)
