Voom Question

Okay, I apologize in advance for asking questions that have been answered a hundred times, but I haven't kept up with this topic and I couldn't find my answers via a search. So... I want to use internet for email and texting (iMessage), and hopefully posting to Instagram. In my cruise planner, only stream is offered. I assume surf is available onboard.

 

Will purchasing the stream package make email, texting, or posting to Instagram faster? Or is it a wash when it comes to those things? I will be on the Enchantment.

 

Trying to debate if I should purchase stream pre-cruise for $11.99, or wait until I'm onboard.

 

Also, what will my Emerald discount be once on board?

Buy now, Stream now is cheaper than Surf on board. No diff in speed for those kind of uses.
