DaCruiserFromtheATX Posted January 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2017 I am going on a cruise Saturday and wanting to book a couple of cruises while I am on that cruise and was wondering if they are still offering 100 obc when you book on the ships. I haven't booked this way since last January.
crusinpsychRN Posted January 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2017 Yes. Be careful as they will automatically book you early saver so you'd have penalties for any changes.
okgirl Posted January 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2017 I thought they dropped the OBC to $50 per cabin and no Friends and Family certificate.
firemanbobswife Posted January 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2017 I thought they dropped the OBC to $50 per cabin and no Friends and Family certificate. That is true on the Vista, not sure about the other ships yet.
cloudninecat Posted January 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2017 We got $50 OBC for a 5 day cruise and 2 friends and family certificates when we booked while on the Triumph in December.
DaCruiserFromtheATX Posted January 24, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted January 24, 2017 Yeah I forgot to mention that they will both be 7 day cruises.
firemanbobswife Posted January 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 24, 2017 Yeah I forgot to mention that they will both be 7 day cruises. Doesn't matter anymore. $50 for any length and no Friends and Family Certificates.
Micahs Grandad Posted January 24, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 24, 2017 Doesn't matter anymore. $50 for any length and no Friends and Family Certificates. Well that stinks. Dont think it is worth it for a measly 50 buck savings. would rather book from home where we have our schedule and can more easily do comparisons. Micahs Grandad Posted January 24, 2017 #10 Share Posted January 24, 2017 Me too. Princess has a nice obc for fcc just like Carnival used to have. Very disappointing Carnival is going in this direction
DaCruiserFromtheATX Posted January 24, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted January 24, 2017 So are you sure that was fleet wide and not on just the vista. Called carnival and they stated that for 7 day cruises they were still offering 100 obc. Well doesn't really matter to me I will just book on the cruise and see what happens. Thanks for everyone's info.
maluhia87 Posted January 24, 2017 #12 Share Posted January 24, 2017 On the Magic last week I could have gotten the regular amount based on days and Friends and Family vouchers.

terri-eddie Posted January 25, 2017 #15 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Last month on the Splendor, we booked a seven day cruise for Dec 2017 and got two Friends and Family vouchers, and $100. Best idea if you're booking a cruise this way....decide at home exactly which ship, which dates, which cabin [or a range of cabins in case your first choice is unavailable] and know what the price should be. That way you'll be prepared to book without dithering and wasting time at the Future Cruise desk....sometimes, people take a LONG time! When we booked last month, another couple was there looking over a print-out of available cruises and ships that was about 40 pages! They had no idea what they wanted.
