Viking Air - changing seat assignments

I think I know the answer but I wouldn't mind comparing notes. I've noticed when changing seat assignments through the airline, that it doesn't get updated on Viking's website. That's annoying but I suspect it's perfectly normal. I just want to know that I'll get the seats I reserve through Delta and/or Air France, in my case.

We are traveling to Asia on a Viking trip in April and our American Airlines seat changes have been updated on the Viking site. It has been about 10 days since the change and I didn't check to see how long it took. We traveled to Europe with Viking in 2015 on Delta and also did seat changes through Delta with no problem. I would think the Airlines seat assignment is accurate and have also found the Viking website slow to update on other issues.

We changed seats for our flight (via United) and Viking's website did not update for quite some time. I didn't really expect it to update at all, as I didn't anticipate Viking would pull that level of data (rather than simply flight time changes)

We changed our seats on January 17 on the Delta site. Just checked our Viking account and our seat assignments now reflect the seat changes.

Viking did update our seat info. Also discovered we lost seats on one flight. Not Viking's fault. Maybe equipment change?
