NCL Escape vs NCL Breakaway

Hi, has anyone cruised on both of these ships and if so, can you share any big differences in the ships? We were not big fans of the Escape.

Well since the escape is just a bigger tweaked version of the breakaway, I doubt you're going to like breakaway. What did you not like about escape?

Essentially the same except Escape has Bayamo and the Tapas Bar versus Ocean Blue on BA. Also Escape has District Brewhouse and Food Republic (one of my favorite places to eat).

 

Layout of the ships is basically the same. Escape has three decks for Haven (lounge/pool area (deck 17), restaurant with outdoor dining (deck 18) and sundeck (indoor/outdoor) on deck 19.

I find this interesting. We were on BA and really didn't like it too much but we actually booked the Escape.

 

As said, they are basically the same with a few changes.
