gkdk24 Posted February 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2017 Hello - I have narrowed down our pre-cruise stay to either the Caribe Hilton or La Concha. Looking to figure out which hotel will give us the best value. They are both priced about the same. Looking to stay 2-3 nights. I priced an Ocean View Tower King Bed w/Balcony at the Caribe and an Ocean Front King Bed at La Concha. The Caribe lists what is included in the resort fee and La Concha does not. Does anyone know what is included? Which would you choose and why? Thank you.
epixx Posted February 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2017 We have stayed at both of these places and think both are great. La Concha is marginally closer to the restaurant areas of Condado, but Caribe is slightly closer to Pan Am pier (we walked to the cruise port). We only stay at these hotels when we get them on Hotwire. For Caribe Hilton we paid $85/night plus taxes and resort fee, and for La Concha we paid $125/night plus taxes and resort fee, but we were upgraded to a suite at La Concha. We also liked the Intercontinental in Isla Verde, which has a better beach and swimming pool than either Caribe Hilton or La Concha (paid $83/night plus taxes and resort fee on Hotwire). cruisintwinsmom Posted February 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2017 I've stayed at both these hotels. Granted, it's been a while since I have stayed at the Carib. However, if I were to do it again I would stay at La Concha. I preferred the location.
