Sail & Sign with Cash

When we cruised on the Magic out of Galveston, we had to wait until we were boarded, then stand in line at Guest Services to put our cash on our account.

When we said on the Legend out of Seattle, they let us put our cash on our account during check in.

My question is - which way is it done in Miami? We are sailing on the Vista in March, and I'm trying to get my mind wrapped around all the differences.

I think it depends on the representative helping you. On my last cruise out of Charleston, we were able to load cash in the terminal, but the rep that helped our friends cruising with us said that they had to go to guest services.

I think it depends if the rep knows what they are doing or not. I wanted to load my gift cards during check in because I had heard it was easiest to do it then. The rep I had told me I had to do it at guest services after boarding. I told her that I heard to do it at check in and then she did it for me, but she didn't know what she was doing as she had never loaded them before.
