Thanks for the positive feedback.

I forgot to mention that despite the numerous reports of narrow hallways and tiny balconies, these issues did not really detract from my cruise. However, we did really miss the ability to combine our balconies into one mega-balcony. It was a convenient way to stay in touch, communicate, and hang out on our Celebrity cruise.

The balconies don't open up on NCL? We booked connecting balconies with the assumption they could open like RCI, what a bummer!

Edited after the fact, I see my question was answered, should have kept reading! [emoji846]

Very interesting! He seemed genuine in his answer and wasn't dodging the question.

Captain Lars never minces words. He was very truthful and said what he knew. I have sailed with him in other situations and have known him a long time. When I heard his voice early Wednesday morning, I knew that something was wrong. Very much of an Officer and Gentleman.

I touched on this in my review, but I must say, this was the smelliest ship I've been on. O'Sheehan's smelled funny, the casino smelled of smoke, the area outside Taste and Savor always had that unsavory smell of a cruise dining area, and many of the areas around the stairways smelled like unclean bathrooms/sewage (coming from the public restrooms, I'm guessing). It certainly wasn't enough to put a damper on my vacation, but it was noticeable!

I also forgot to mention how much I hated Miami's airport. We had to walk for what seemed like miles after landing through cramped, crowded passages that induced claustrophobia.

Worst airport ever for international arrivals and departures. We endure it - but only because we have to....

How is the Dining Package figured in in the Al a Carte restaurants?

You basically get one selection from every category. For example, one appetizer, one salad, one entree, and one dessert. Two sides with your steak in Cagneys. But on a couple occasions, I asked for an extra appetizer, soup, or dessert and got it with no problem.

I will take the Miami Airport over Fort Lauderdale any day. Lauderdale is on 3 levels: Ticket Counter on the uppermost level- no check in prior to 2 hours before your flight. TSA and gates are in the middle level. Baggage Claim on the lowest level. Coffee for sale on the lowest level and some snacks. Food Court is beyond TSA on the middle level.

I loved being on this cruise and can not wait to get back in November for my birthday.

Interesting. I've been through FLL a few times without any issues.
