Included "Add Ons" Explanation?

Hi! First cruise on the Norwegian Gem 4/29, was looking at our confirmation, and there are some "add ons" that I didn't know were included in the Free At Sea promotion. I was wondering if anyone could answer a couple questions about them. Here are the "add ons":

- 2 x Adult Ultimate Beverage Package

I knew we'd get this, it's the way I got my husband on board. ;)

- 2 x $25 Casino play

Unexpected. Does everyone get this?

- 1 x Internet Package (100 Minutes)

We signed up for the 3rd person free as our second offer, so the 100 minutes of Internet is unexpected. Any clue if this means 100 minutes of any type of data, or what? I can never figure the Internet packages out.

- 2 x Free $50 On-Board Credit Certificate Non -Refundable

Expected this! Going straight to the arcade for our son! ;)

- 1 x Photo - Ten standard photos per cabin

Unexpected! Is this the photo package? We get 10 photos free? That's cool. Does everyone always get this?

- 1 x Unlimited Phone Calls

What in the world is this? Like...around the ship? Seems weird.

Wow!!!! Who did you book through..... we are cruising on the Dawn in June and Epic next February... and we got 2 "free at sea". UBP & gratuities on the June cruise and UBP & SDP on the February cruise(gratuities weren't offered on this cruise). That sounds like a lot of freebies! Good for you! enjoy!

Assuming that your booking occurred between Dec 9th and Feb 6th it appears that you received the Norwegian Selects Promotion.

 

You will want to ask your TA/PCC for a copy of your Amenity Confirmation prior to your cruise to take with you.

Everything but the UBP means that you booked at the right time and got the NCL Selects discounts in addition to the Free at Sea Promotion (Only your UBP and 3rd person are coming from the Free at Sea Promotion). Basically, you got two promotions for one booking, (so did I, so go us!). Everyone who booked select sailings during a certain period (I believe late Jan through Feb 8th or 9th) got these promotions automatically. The internet is for 100 minutes either using your own device with wifi or at the internet cafe (or a mix of both). The Unlimited Phone Calls is ship-to-shore calls from inside your stateroom to anywhere in the US.

Thanks! I guess my handy dandy Norwegian dude added this for us. That was awfully gear of him! We booked directly with NCL on January 6th. I'm feeling very lucky. :)

I booked directly through NCL. I made the reservation online, but just held it, then an NCL dude called me to complete it. He was a very good guy to add the other promo on there for us! Thanks, NCL dude!

I booked our January 19th 2018 cruise during this promotion and when I asked about it I my agent called NCL and they told her that our cruise does not qualify....only cruises in 2017 qualify.................so now I am wondering because the OP said their cruise was for next Feb....which would be 2018. Hmm.
