BrnBrok Posted February 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Was looking at the Celebrity Infinity and wondering what an aft FV balcony room would be like going through the canal? Any pluses or minus for our day of travel through the canal. Any issues for the routes of the journey? The ship starts in Fort Lauderdale and ends in San Diego. I believe that it has stops in Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala among others.
Rare mahdnc Posted February 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) An FV balcony would be ideal for a canal cruise, especially the ones on the corner. We have been those FV cabins twice on Infinity, most recently last month when we cruise South America. Edited February 15, 2017 by mahdnc

Rare mahdnc Posted February 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Here is a link to the trip report that I wrote for our Infinity FV cruise around South America. There are a few pictures/video taken from the cabin or balcony. It might give you a better idea. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2450417
Rare Cruise Raider Posted February 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Best cabins on the entire ship! You will not be disappointed. Plus, going through the canal on it will be amazing. You won't see forward but can see the entire workings of the locks from the back.
