cbradley1209 Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 I know I've seen this discussed but can't find it now that I'm looking. On the changeover day between a B2B are we permitted to stay onboard? are dining areas open? can I do our laundry? Thanks-chris
marinaro44 Posted February 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Yes, you can stay onboard, but you have to log out with your old keycard and log in with your new one, probably at about 9:45. This will be covered at the back-to-back meeting and in written instructions you will receive. Windows is open for both breakfast and lunch. As a back-to-back guest you can order room service for breakfast. Yes, the laundry room is available. Ask at the back-to-back meeting when it will open as they might want to do some cleaning or maintenance before boarding the next cruise.
roaming_kiwi58 Posted February 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Depends what your turnaround port is. We recently did a B2B which turned in Miami, and everyone had to get off the ship. We were not allowed back on board until the ship had been cleared - it was about 90 minutes we had to wait in the terminal building, if we did not want to go out and about anywhere. And then there were arguments between the terminal staff and the Azamara staff as to whether we were allowed to go back on board or not.
florisdekort Posted February 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Yes, you can stay onboard... Not in US and some Middle Eastern change over ports. In Europe, yes. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
