Zeno Posted February 22, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted February 22, 2017 The cruise would be around the end of June (to Norway and Northern Scotland). I don't need the pool to be very warm BUT I am pretty sure given the temps at that time of year in that area, it would have to have the dome covering it to be swimable for me. Has anyone done something similar and been swimming in the covered pool area?
Rare Crew News Posted February 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2017 On all of our late-April and May cruises to Alaska, the indoor Lido Pool roof has been both open and closed depending on the outside air temperature.
AtlantaCruiser72 Posted February 22, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2017 The pool is heated and the space itself can be climate (temp) controlled when the magradome is closed, so the Lido pool will be useable regardless of outside temps/weather. Zeno Posted February 22, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted February 22, 2017 That's great - if we decide to take this cruise using the pool will be very important to us. Thx everyone.
Nang Posted February 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Hi, We find the water temp in HAL ships too warm, so a northern Europe cruise might be the best for swimming!!! Cheers Gary
